Lisa Unger is an award-wining New York Times and internationally bestselling author. Her novels have sold more than 1.5 million copies and have been translated into twenty-six different languages. She was born in New Haven, Connecticut, but grew up in the Netherlands, England, New Jersey and New York, where she graduated from the New School for Social Research. Lisa now lives in Clearwater, Florida.

About Brookwood FloridaBrookwood Florida is dedicated to providing troubled adolescent girls with an alternative living environment and therapeutic program encompassing education, employability skills, independent living training and counseling that will prepare them for self-sufficiency or successful family reunification.
Brookwood’s treatment philosophy is a combination of cognitive, behavioral and reality therapies. Our program helps troubled teens to complete their education, develop employment skills, acquire independent living skills, and engage in a full array of mental health services. Program graduates are able to reunite with their families or live self-sufficiently in the community. St Petersburg Times and Brookwood FloridaNot only is the St Petersburg Times presenting this year’s Swanky Soiree event to benefit Brookwood Florida, they have also covered this organization and the story of the Brookwood girls in the past.  |
