About Brookwood Florida

Brookwood is a licensed therapeutic group home for adolescent girls ages 12 to 20. Founded in 1927, we serve girls who are victims of abuse, neglect, violence, family dysfunction or are homeless. Our residents are placed by:

• Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF)
• Parent experiencing stressful parent-child relationships
• Emergency, crisis and homeless shelters.

Brookwood’s treatment philosophy is a combination of cognitive, behavioral and reality therapies. The program goal is to assist troubled young women in developing skills, improved self-concepts and a maturity level sufficient to accomplish personal goals.

Brookwood Florida’s Mission

Brookwood Florida is dedicated to providing troubled adolescent girls with an alternative living environment and therapeutic program encompassing education, employability skills, independent living training and counseling that will prepare them for self-sufficiency or successful family reunification.

What is the recommended attire?

Resort casual. This is not your ordinary fundraiser. Leave the stifling suit and Spanx in the closet!

Where do I park?

We are offering complimentary valet parking.

Do I need to bring cash for the bar?

You can also leave your wallet home (unless you’d like to make an additional contribution to Brookwood!) The bar is open.
